Music For Relief is responding to Typhoon Haiyan to provide immediate relief to the 12 million people who have been impacted by the storm, which has caused flooding, landslides and massive destruction. Southern California bands LINKIN PARK and THE OFFSPRING have joined forces to stage an intimate concert event be held on Saturday January 11th at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, with more special guests to be announced.
Tickets will be extremely limited, but fans can get tickets by donating or raising a minimum of $250 for Music for Relief’s Typhoon Relief effort at: www.musicforrelief.org. 500 tickets are available to those who raise a minimum of $250. The first 300 people who reach the $250 goal are guaranteed tickets in the general admission pit closest to the stage. The top 75 fundraisers overall will get special perks like meet & greets with the bands, VIP reserved seating, VIP pre-party, parking, commemorative merchandise items and more.

MFR is partnering with International Medical Corps on the ground to immediately deliver critical medicines and emergency medical services with an emphasis on water, sanitation and disease prevention efforts. Due to contaminated water, there is a high risk of infectious disease outbreaks throughout storm-affected areas.
Music For Relief was founded by Linkin Park, and is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing aid to victims of natural disasters and the prevention of such disasters. Since its inception in 2005, Music for Relief has raised over $5 million for survivors of multiple disasters across four continents including the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, hurricane Katrina, China’s Wenchuan earthquake, a cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe, and the 2011 earthquake & tsunami in Japan. Music for Relief also supports environmental programs as a means of disaster risk mitigation including the planting of over 1 million trees to help reduce global warming.
