Sienna Miller in Ethiopia

Actress and International Medical Corps Global Ambassador, Sienna Miller, recently returned from visiting our nutrition programs at the Dolo Ado camps for Somali refugees in eastern Ethiopia.  Home to 120,000 refugees – more than 30 percent malnourished – the Dolo Ado camps are a refuge for Somalis fleeing the crippling effects of drought, famine and conflict in their country.  Following her visit to an area largely inaccessible to media, Miss Miller is calling for greater attention to the worst humanitarian crisis in the world today where more than 12.4 million people throughout East Africa require relief.

FROM RELIEF TO SELF-RELIANCE

For 30 years, International Medical Corps has worked to relieve the suffering of those impacted by war, natural disaster and disease by delivering vital health care services that focus on training, helping devastated populations return to self-reliance.
