IMC
Water, sanitation, and hygiene staff at the International Medical Corps screening and referral unit (SRU) at Donka Hospital in Conakry, Guinea. International Medical Corps built two SRUs at the hospital, the largest in the capital city, in an effort to quickly identify suspected Ebola patients and safely isolate and transfer them to be tested. In addition to checking temperatures and looking out for Ebola symptoms, the teams require everyone entering the hospital to wash their hands in chlorinated water and decontaminate the soles of shoes upon entering and exiting the building.
So many people depend on International Medical Corps for lifesaving care. And they depend on the members of our supporter community-people just like you-to create stronger communities and ensure healthier futures.
