Comedians Come Together For Event Supporting International Medical Corps at Los Angeles’ The Comedy Store

Actor, writer, comedian, and producer David Koechner, who currently co-stars on CBS’ series “Superior Donuts,” will host night of standup at the iconic The Comedy Store in support of International Medical Corps’ lifesaving work in more than 30 countries. The event will feature a headline performance by “Superior Donuts” co-star Maz Jobrani.

Tickets for the event, which will take place on April 13th from 7-10 pm, cost $150 a person and benefit the International Medical Corps, a Los Angeles-based First Responder that provides health and humanitarian relief programs across the globe.

“We are profoundly grateful to The Comedy Store and everyone involved for lending their talents and time to help raise money to support our work,” said Rebecca Milner, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at International Medical Corps. “We are facing an unprecedented number of crises around the world. Wars in the Middle East continue to uproot thousands from their homes each day, while millions of people across South Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, and northeastern Nigeria are facing a very grave risk of famine. The money raised through this event will help us deliver lifesaving services to those most in need, wherever they are.”

Prior to co-starring in “Superior Donuts,” David Koechner was a cast member of Saturday Night Live and has featured in more than 120 film and TV projects, including NBC’s “The Office” and the “Anchorman” films. Maz Jobrani has been featured in three Showtime standup specials and was the author of the best-selling book, “I’m Not a Terrorist, But I’ve Played One on TV.”

The event is sponsored by Kirkland & Ellis, KPMG, Beverly Hills BMW, GrantThorton, Jones Lang LaSalle, Union Bank, Willis Towers Watson.
