Ukraine:One Year On

Thank you for sharing information about International Medical Corps’ lifesaving work in Ukraine. Your support makes a big difference!

International Medical Corps has been working in Ukraine since 2014 and was already on the ground when Russia invaded on February 24, 2022. Since that time, we have provided nearly 6  million people in Ukraine, Poland and Moldova with critically needed health services and supplies.

Today, through our eight operational centers across Ukraine, as well as our programs in Poland, we are providing direct services to people in need, as well as working with local partners and organizations to reach people affected by the war. Our teams provide medical services, supplies and equipment; mental health services; gender-based violence prevention and protection services; water, sanitation and hygiene support; nutrition and food security programs; and direct cash assistance. We’re also training local health workers in trauma and mass-casualty care, and are helping to strengthen and rehabilitate damaged health facilities.
