Los Angeles-based humanitarian organization International Medical Corps will host its 2025 Annual Awards Celebration on Thursday, November 13, at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel. This year will mark 41 years of International Medical Corps’ lifesaving work in the United States and around the world. The annual celebration honors the dedicated partners, supporters, volunteers and staff who make the organization’s work possible.
The event will kick off with a red carpet reception at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, followed by dinner and a program at 7:00 p.m.
Actress Jennifer Garner will present actress Judy Greer with the Global Champion Award for her long-time and passionate advocacy on behalf of International Medical Corps’ work around the world. Greer has traveled to Ukraine, Jordan and Puerto Rico to see this work first-hand, helping to raise awareness and much-needed funds for relief efforts.
“My friend Judy doesn’t do anything halfway. So, when she pointed her huge, empathetic, curious heart at International Medical Corps, she was bound to make her mark,” said Garner. “I am so proud of my deeply human humanitarian friend and cannot wait to celebrate her, along with the lifesaving work of International Medical Corps.”
Ashley Park, actress and International Medical Corps Global Ambassador, will present nurse Mary-Jane Perry with the Henry H. Hood Distinguished Service Award for Perry’s dedicated volunteer work during the LA wildfires, Hurricane Michael in Florida, Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas and Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.
Flexport.com, the US-based supply-chain management company, will receive the Global Citizen Award for its vital role in International Medical Corps’ efforts to deliver humanitarian assistance in numerous countries, including the United States, Ukraine and Sudan, among many others.
Senior Advisor for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Marin Tomas will receive the Founder’s Award for his ongoing dedication and leadership during more than three decades of emergency responses for International Medical Corps, all of them in difficult and sometimes dangerous environments.
“Our annual celebration is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when courage, compassion and commitment converge,” said Nancy A. Aossey, President and CEO of International Medical Corps. “Whether it’s the selfless service of volunteer Mary-Jane Perry, the passionate support of Global Ambassador Judy Greer, the vital partnership of Flexport or the decades of leadership from Marin Tomas, every honoree embodies International Medical Corps’ mission to provide medical relief and training to communities around the world struck by conflict, disaster or disease. For that, we are truly grateful.”
